On this tour you’ll visit the Yerbas Buenas sector, where one can be surprised by the cave drawings painted on the rocks. The Chaxa lagoon is part of the Salar de Atacama and belongs to the Los Flamencos National Reserve. This route was designed to observe the different species of flamingos of the Andean highlands in their natural habitat and to enjoy the sunset that the driest desert in the world has to offer – rich in colors. Main stops: Laguna Chaxa and Tambillo. This tour is done in the middle of the afternoon and includes a cocktail and the entrance to the park.

Altiplanic Lagoons… a protected place and one of the most visited in Atacama. One of the most popular tours among those visiting San Pedro. “El Tatio”, in Kunza means the “grandfather who cries”, and is the largest geyser group in the southern hemisphere and the third largest geothermal field on the planet. Walking through a canyon is essential for those who enjoy adventure during their travels. This is an alternative route and a different way of discovering a source of water that rises at the base of the Jorquencal hill and fills with life the warm thermal waters of Puritama, the final destination of this tour. To visit the Hidden Lagoons is to enter a secret place, where seven colored lagoons with an intense turquoise blue can be seen up close. The lagoons shine, inspire and at the same time invite the curious sensation of floating in a pond with a high salt content. Part of the tour is getting to know Vallecito, which is part of the salt mountain range, an epic place that connects it’s visitors with the story of a mysterious abandoned bus.
