TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment:
Payments with credit cards (USD and CLP) and debit cards (CLP) are accepted. Cash payments are not accepted in any currency. The hotel will charge a security deposit for the total amount of your stay, but full payment will be fully collected 7 days prior to your arrival at the hotel.
All reservations must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the check-in date. Reservations that do not meet these requirements will be automatically cancelled and in the event of passenger arrival, will be subject to hotel availability.
Cancellation:
In case of cancellation of the reservation, please send an email to info@terrantai.com
If the rate booked is flexible and the cancellation is made eight (8) days prior to the arrival date, no fee will be applied.
In case of a no-show or cancellation of the reservation seven (7) days or less prior to the arrival date, the hotel will charge the total cost of the reservation. If you have any doubts about the type of rate booked, please contact us.
In case of a no-show and if the reservation has not been canceled within the corresponding deadlines, the hotel will proceed with the full collection of the reservation, without the possibility of a refund (total or partial).
Taxes:
To avoid paying the tax, regulated by article 12 letter E No. 17 of the Sales and Services Tax Law, all foreign passengers must show their passport and migration card (PDI) valid at the time of Check-in, and make payment in US dollars, using credit card. Otherwise they must pay 19% corresponding to VAT. The non-presentation of the valid migration card (PDI) will automatically imply the payment of VAT, calculated per day of accommodation. Foreigners residing or who have been in Chilean territory for 59 days or more are required to pay VAT.
Children policy:
From 14 years old on.

Parking:
San Pedro de Atacama’s heritage regulations prohibit parking of any kind in the historic sector (including in front of the hotel). However, Terrantai has a parking area one block from the hotel at no additional cost to our guests. Please contact us for more information or check the section “Get to Terrantai”.
